How do I add University Key Dates to my office 365 calendar

How do I import the University Key Dates to my email client program?

University Key Dates are available from the Soton Almanac website using a computer on campus or connected via VPN. You can view them online via the website, or download an ICS or HOL file with them contained. Key Dates include public holidays, University closure days, executive board and committee meetings.

An ICS file will be added as an additional calendar within your email client, which will automatically update as new dates are published. A HOL file imports the key dates and events into your own personal calendar. This needs to be run each time the academic year changes.

In both cases, download the file from the website and run the file. If using a HOL file, it will ask what type of events you wish to import. Select the appropriate choices and select OK. To add an ICS file in certain client programs (other than Outlook), you need to open a shared calendar > ICS file.
