Creative Media can be requested by researchers, members of academic units, and professional services
To make a request, please fill out the following Media Request Form.
The form will ask you a series of questions to help the Digital Learning Team understand your request, we may need to follow up with you and will aim to meet or discuss your project within two working days.
What's the best way to put a brief together?
Different types of media communicate ideas in more effective ways, but the most important starting place is thinking about your learning outcome, message or objective. Ask yourself, what students will be able to understand, apply, create or share as a result of this media.
If you have existing materials such as slides, images, diagrams or papers then please provide them so that we can better understand your project?
How long will it take to make?
The time it takes from requesting media to being published or shared is dependent on multiple factors such as the complexity of the project, the time it takes to prepare and write the content and the available resource within the Digital Learning Team to work on your project. We will work with you to agree the timescales once we’ve received your request.
The steps involved are:
Initial contact
Meeting to discuss the project
Pro-production, storyboarding or animatic
Production
Edit
Review
Amends
Delivery.
