This article explains how to log into Jira, Trello, Confluence or other Atlassian products using your university account.
You can log in to:
Please note: before using (unsupported) 3rd party services for university purposes, please read our Cyber Security Guidance.
To register for an account for the first time, please:
1. Open Atlassian's website
2. Select the button "Sign in"
3. Select the option "Create an account"
4. Enter your university email address based on your mailname (for example: A.Surname@soton.ac.uk)
5. Select the button "Sign up"
6. You will receive an email from Atlassian asking to verify your email
7. Select the button "Verify your email"
8. If not already logged in, you will be prompted to sign into your University account. Your registration will be completed and you will be logged into Atlassian.

If you are already registered with Atlassian using a University email address, please:
1. Open Atlassian's website
2. Select the button "Sign in"
3. Enter your university email address based on your mailname (for example: A.Surname@soton.ac.uk)
4. Select the button "Continue"
5. You will sign in using your University login instead of providing your Atlassian password. Select the button "Log in"

You can change your password by:
1. Selecting your profile icon / initials
2. Select "Account settings"
3. Select the tab "Security" from the toolbar
4. Entering your current password and the new one
5. Select the button "Save changes"

If you leave or graduate from the University, you will lose access to your Atlassian account and any related projects.
