This article list the best browsers for getting the best from Microsoft 365 applications for the web.
Laptops and desktops
If you want to get the best out of Microsoft Office 365 online when using features with a browser, Microsoft recommends using:
- Windows 11: Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome
- Windows 10: Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome
- MacOS: Apple Safari (version 16 or newer), Chrome, or Microsoft Edge
- Linux: Microsoft Edge, Firefox or Chrome on Linux. Please note that some features may not be available on Linux.
Android
There are currently no browsers on Android that are officially supported with Microsoft 365 for the web.
Microsoft recommends using the Microsoft 365 for Android apps downloadable from the Google Play store.
iOS
Microsoft recommends using the Microsoft 365 mobile apps downloadable from the Apple App Store.
If you're using an older version of iOS that no longer supports the Microsoft 365 mobile apps, then Safari is the best browser for Microsoft 365 for the web. Please be aware that on older versions of iOS some Microsoft 365 features may not be available.
