Do I need to connect my OWL to Wi-Fi?

Connecting your OWL to Wi-Fi is not essential because it works with your computer through its USB connection. However, connecting to Wi-Fi does ensure it stays up-to-date with software improvements and security patches so we do recommend it.

Your Owl should be connected to the Soton-IoT network which is only available in some areas at the moment. If you cannot see the Soton-IoT network in your area you can bring your Owl to one of our Tech Hubs and register it there.
