How to find the manager of a group in ServiceNow

Changes to the membership of a ServiceNow group can only be made by the group manager. If changes need to be made to a group for which you are not the owner, follow the guidance below to locate the owner and get in contact with them.

How to find the manager of a group

1. Log in to ServiceNow

2. Select the All menu

3. Enter service desk in the Filter Navigator

4. Select Groups within Users and Groups

A list of parent groups will display.

5. Select the required parent group to view all the groups within (or use the search field at the top of the page)

The manager of each group is listed in the Manager column.
