This article guides you on adding a sender or domain to a list of safe senders in Outlook.
To avoid messages from known external addresses being sent to your Junk Email folder, you can add them to the list of your safe senders.
1. Select the "Settings" icon close to your profile picture on the toolbar
2. Select "Email" from the left menu, then "Junk email"
3. Scroll down to the section "Safe senders and domains"
4. Select "+Add"
5. Enter the email address you want to add
6. Press enter
7. The email added will appear at the top of the list. Select "Save" to save your changes

1. Right-click the email received from the sender you want to block
2. From the ribbon, select the "Junk" icon
3. From the drop-down menu, select the option "Junk E-mail Options…"
4. It will appear a new window. Select the tab "Safe Senders"
5. Select the button "Add"
6. Enter an email address to be added to the list, then select the button "OK"
7. The address added will appear within the list. Select the button "OK" to close the window.

At present (December 2023), Outlook for Mac does not show the same features available on Outlook for Windows.
If you want to add a safe sender to your list, you can:
1. Open the sender's email
2. Right-click their name on the "From", "To", "Cc", or "Bcc" line
3. Select the option "Open Outlook contact"
4. Select the button "Add to contacts" from the top-left corner
5. Add any additional details you want
6. Select the button "Save"
1. From the left sidebar select the contact icon (below the calendar icon)
2. Move the pointer of your mouse to the "New contact" button
3. Select the option "New contact" from the options available
4. Add contact details
5. Select the "Select" button
