It may happen that Outlook shows your folders (or sub-folders) in the web version and not in the Desktop one. You can solve this issue by following the instructions below.
1. Open the Desktop version of Outlook and select:
2. The "Email Accounts" tab will appear. Please complete the steps below for each University @soton.ac.uk account.
3. Double-click on your university email address:
4. The "Exchange Account Settings" dialogue box will appear. Select the button "More Settings":
5. The "Microsoft Exchange" window will appear. Select the "Advanced" tab.
6. In the Advanced tab
7. Now, please select:
8. Close out all Outlook windows
9. Open Outlook desktop again
