Setting up Quiet time on Teams

The feature “Quiet time” on Teams allows you to mute notifications during specific times (or for 24 hours) during specific days.

By turning Quit time on you will be sure Teams will not disturb you during those hours.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Open Teams from your mobile

2. Tap on your profile icon

""

3. Select Notifications

""

4. Go to the section called "Block notifications" and select the option During quiet times

""

5. You will now have the option to set up Quiet time on:

  • Certain hours: this option allows you to set up the times you do not want to receive notifications, with or without exceptions
  • All days: this option allows you to choose specific days to keep notifications off, with or without exceptions
  • Set on Teams and Outlook: this option enables Quiet time on Teams and Outlook

''

As an example, by unlocking the option “Certain hours”, you will be able to:

  • set a start and end time
  • set the day(s)
  • select exceptions

6. If necessary, you can turn on exceptions for:

  • Incoming calls
  • Important messages

7. Your changes are active as soon as you turn them on/off. You can change them whenever you want.
