The new Bentley education hub has been launched to enhance the user experience. The Bentley education hub provides free access for students, educators, and staff to over 60 Bentley software applications.

Accessing bentley education software

Please follow the instructions given below to start your journey with Bentley academic software.

Note: you can skip Step 1 if you already have a Bentley education account.

Step 1 - Creating a bentley education account

1. Visit Bentley Education.
2. Select the Sign up option.
   
   

3. Sign-up information:

• • When  signing up, use your education-domain email address (for example, yourname@school.edu).
  • If you do not have an education-domain email, you should:
    • upload proof of eligibility, such as your student ID card.

4. Verify your email address.
5. Set your password to complete the account creation process.

Step 2 - Log in and access the software

1. After creating your account or if you already have a Bentley education account:

• • Open Bentley education.
  • Login with your credentials.

2. Once logged in, you will land on your profile details page
3. Under education license details, check your license information:

• • If under the “Education License Details” you see the following message as given in the image below, it would indicate you are eligible for software downloads, and you will see the renewal date
    
    

• • If your Education License is not approved, contact the support team and attach a copy of your student ID card

4. To confirm you are logged in, hover over the Login option in the top-right corner of the page
   
   
   

5. Go to the Software section
   Note: Please make sure the software for Students  & Educators filter is checked
   
   

6. Browse or search for the software you need (for example, MicroStation, OpenRoads, or STAAD)

Step 3 - Download and install

1. Select the install option next to the software you want to download
   
   

2. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and complete the installation process. Follow the instructions given below:

• • During the first installation, the Bentley’s Connection Client will also be installed
  • The Connection Client manages your login and software access
  • To activate or access the software:
    • log in to the Connection Client using the same credentials you used for Bentley Education
