Windows 10 - Microsoft Edge Printing in Colour

When attempting to print a page in MS Edge in colour, even after selecting the colour printer queue, it still prints in mono.

This is a current "feature" of Microsoft Edge. In order to print a web page or document in colour:

  • In Edge, Select the Print option from the three dots menu (...) in the top right
  • Choose the "Colour" Print queue and THEN CLICK "MORE SETTINGS" at the bottom of the dialog
  • On the page that opens, scroll down to "Output Options" and choose a "Colour Mode" of "Colour" (not Monochrome)
  • Click OK, then click "Print" as normal.
