Why won't Microsoft Edge print in Colour?

When attempting to print a page in Edge in colour, even after selecting the colour printer queue, it still prints in mono.

This is a current "feature" of Microsoft Edge which we are unable to change. In order to print a web page or document in colour:

  • In Edge, select the Print option from the three dots menu (...) in the top right

  • Choose the Colour print queue

  • Click More Settings at the bottom of the dialog

  • On the page that opens, scroll down to Output Options

  • Choose a "Colour Mode" of "Colour" (not Monochrome)
  • Click OK
  • Click Print as normal
