I have changed my University password - what other action do I need to take?

After you have changed your University password, you may need to take some further action:
  • If you have a Windows PC/laptop you are advised to restart your computer, otherwise you may not be able to print until you have done so
  • Mac users are advised that they should also change the keychain password on their Mac. Instructions on this process are found at

    If you have the colour or mono queue in your keychain, you will need to change this as well
  • Please note that you will also need to re-enter your new password for services such as eduroam wireless network and for email on your mobile devices.     
  • If you have a non-University PC/laptop you may need to update your printing settings.  
    • Go to the Start Menu > Control Panel > Credential Manager
    • You should see either staff.printing or anywhere.printing listed. You need to edit your password there to your new one
