Turning Point software is available on every PC installed in the university’s teaching rooms. You can quickly locate and open it by typing ‘turn’ into the search box on the Windows Start menu.

You can install the software on other Windows computers by downloading it from the iSolutions Software library. You will need to log in and then choose TurningPoint from the list of Applications. Select Turning Point v5.2 for STAFF machines. Click the blue 'i' icon on the download page for installation instructions.

You can download the latest Mac and Windows software for free from Turning Point’s UK website. You will need to fill in a form first, but they don’t send you many emails per year.

Does Turning Point only work with PowerPoint slides?

Most tutors install Turning Point on their office PC so they can prepare PowerPoint presentations that include voting slides ready for use in-class. However, Turning Point also includes a Poll Anywhere feature that enables you to instantly at any time – for example while viewing a PDF or website. You can also prepare sets of questions in advance to use with Poll Anywhere.

Further information about electronic voting systems can be found here: What electronic voting systems are available?
