Restoring Emails That Have Been Auto-Archived

If you have a large number of emails that have been archived that you wish to move back to your University mailbox, please follow the instructions in the document that is linked below - it will take you through the restoration the process, step by step, from within both Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013.

Please note that this process may take some time, depending upon the volume of data within your archive.

Note the PDF document in the "attachments" section to the right of this article.

If you utilise a Mac, rather than a PC, please use Outlook within the Southampton Virtual Environment (SVE). From your browser on your Mac, visit sve.soton.ac.uk, logging in with your University credentials. Once logged in, launch Outlook and follow the simple onscreen prompt for setup - you can then follow the instructions given in the Restoring Archived Emails document (to the right of this article)
