Error: When attempting to add a generic email account to Outlook via email settings through control panel or via the outlook application user receives a RunDLL32 error and the account is not added.
Resolution: Disable hardware graphics acceleration in outlook. You do this from within Outlook by going to file, options, advanced and ticking disable hardware graphics acceleration
