To log into Bob National, the TV service, please follow the below instructions:

• Go to http://bobnational.net and click on "Log in"
• Start typing "Southampton" in the filter box and select "University of Southampton" from the list.
• Enter your University username and password.
• The first time you use the site you will be asked to enter your email address and to accept the terms of the site. You will not be asked to do this step again.

You may now browse the site and request up to five recordings per day.

What else do I need to know?

All staff, students and visitors with a valid Southampton University username and password can use the bobnational.net website.

You can request to record a programme for up to 30 days after it airs (for non-BBC programmes). For any programme from the BBC broadcast since 2007, the recording request can be made.

You can also request the recording of a programme for up to 7 days before it airs – do bear in mind that future programming is subject to change.
