Once your University account has expired, normally three months after your graduation, your University account will be disabled. You will then get your new alumni account @southamptonalumni.ac.uk. But remember this account is for email and calendar only. You will also lose your access to OneDrive and any other office 365 services.
Your alumni account will replace your old student account and you will not be able to access emails via SUSSED. You will be able to access your emails via: www.outlook.com/southamptonalumni.ac.uk
